Born and raise in Long Beach, Steve Cholo Ellis is a skateboarder since day one. Pionner of the skateboard foundations,
he discovered skateboard and surf in the 60’and set up the foundations of skateboarding by ridding empty pools.
He moved to North Shore in Hawaï were he had a restaurant and built the most famous skateboard bowl in the world.
Jay Adams, Rune Glifberg, Bob burnquist, Omar Hassan, Danny Way, Jimmy Marcus… They all rode the Steve Cholo’s Bowl in Hawaï.
Maybe the oldest skateboarder in the world, Steve Cholo Ellis now lives in the Philippines and keeps on teaching kids the flow !
