Episode 19: Servane Escoffier, Adjusting the sail and Going with the wind

In this new episode, Tronche de Vie followed Servane Escoffier, at her home in Saint-Malo, then at sea, aboard Bureau Vallée 2. Servane is a sailor, but remains above all a mother of 2 children. Combining family life and professional life is not easy when you travel around the world, but Servane wishes above all to preserve her family life while living his passion for the sea.

Servane has always been friends with Stephane, the director. She started sailing very young, with a first Jacques Vabre at only 22 years old. Passionate about the sea, Servane participated in the first edition of the Barcelona World Race in 2007 and the Route du Rhum in 2010, a transatlantic solo race.

On 5 November, with her companion Louis Burton, she left Le Havre aboard the Imoca Bureau Vallée 2, in the direction of Salvador De Bahia, Brazil, for the 2017 edition of the Transat Jacques-Vabre. This is the first time that the couple sails with two.
